Lay of the Land

Lay of the Land is an Ancaster landscaping company founded by Brad Coultes in 2007, drawing on his experience in residential maintenance and golf course construction. It serves Ancaster, Hamilton, Dundas, Caledonia and Mount Hope, working with homeowners and commercial properties. Landscape design and full installations often combine patios, walkways, retaining and garden walls, planting, sod and lighting. Services include sod installation, tree planting, garden creation and renovation, water features, driveways, woodwork such as decks and fences, and landscape lighting. Maintenance covers gardens, tree pruning and spring and fall cleanups, with commercial maintenance and snow removal on offer. Free consultations are available. A customer review praises the owner's knowledge of horticulture and drainage issues, and another says he checked in daily during the job and offered to water a newly seeded lawn. Rated 5.0 from 134 Google reviews, 133 of them five stars.
